What is it?

An in-app campaign for McDonald’s designed to drive app downloads and promote the three varieties of their Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The interactive experience greeted users upon opening the app, allowing them to shuffle and discover their perfect flavor match.

What did I do?

As the lead designer, I developed the concept and execution of the in-app experience, collaborating with a copywriter to create an engaging and intuitive user journey. I presented the work to both the client and creative leadership, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and campaign goals.

What were the results?

The campaign contributed to a 13.6% sales increase in Q1, solidifying McDonald’s position in the competitive “chicken sandwich wars” against Chick-fil-A and Popeyes.
