What is it?

The Saweetie Meal at McDonald's was a limited-time promotion launched in August 2021, part of the Famous Orders campaign. This collaboration between McDonald’s and rapper Saweetie featured a meal tailored to her personal tastes and aimed to engage both McDonald’s and Saweetie’s fan bases.

What did I do?

As the lead designer, I created and executed the in-app experience, working closely with a copywriter to design an engaging user journey. I presented the campaign to both the client and creative leadership, ensuring all aspects were aligned with the broader brand strategy and campaign goals.

What were the results?

The Saweetie Meal helped drive a 22% increase in mobile app downloads during the promotion period in 2021, contributing to the success of McDonald's Famous Orders campaign and further solidifying McDonald’s presence in pop culture marketing.
